Instead of saving and waiting, can I buy fractional shares until I get a whole piece? Then that way I’m earning while I’m saving to get a whole piece.
I buy fractions and I also started off adding more to my portfolio then I should’ve however I am learning and correcting my mishaps so my kids won’t make the same mistake with their portfolio good content peace king
I disagree with this, depending on the stock it could very likely keep your cost significantly lower. Makes more sense than having it in your account where it’s making nothing or anything you potentially spend it.
Gotta start somewhere Trap. But good math if you got the cash. 💪🏾💪🏾
Bad advice buying that 105 dollars worth can start working for you the next 2 weeks while you wait in the other 105. Don’t sound like much on a small scale but changer that number to 10500 instead of 105 the percentage is still the same 🤷♂️🫡
Why not buy in with what you can when you can? That will eventually turn into a full share(s). I buy fractions until I get a whole and keep going.🤷🏾♀️
I like fractional shares. It allows for a better DCA.
That's the worst advice. Saving money is a luxury fool and maybe if you were smart you'd realize the power of compounding.
That's investment 101. Its ain't about money its about consistency.
Hello my people keep buying fractional it all adds up. Thank you
I love this channel and watch every video as soon as it drops, BUT…I will continue buying fractional shares.
You should buy fractional shares. Waiting until you have enough for a full share will cause you to miss opportunities.
Share amount doesn't matter. It's the dollar amount invested that matter. When the stock price increase, your investment increase, regardless of share amount. You can buy a 0.5 fractional share of a $100 stock for $50…If that stock goes up 10%, the stock price will increase to $110 but your $50 investment of 0.5 shares, would be worth $55. You still made a 10% profit on your smaller investment.
Fractional Share 0.5 ($50 –> 10% gain —> $55)
Full Share 1.00 ($100 —> 10% gain —> $110)
A 10% increase is a 10% increase, whether it's 1 share, 0.5 shares, 0.005 shares…It doesn't matter at all.
The only time buying a full share matters is for voting rights and transferring between brokers. If you don't care about voting in company affairs or you want to keep your broker forever, buy fractional shares…Ignore everything he just said and invest however much you can afford…PERIOD.
Keep investing however much you can afford.
FACTS…..
Who AXED this guy?
If i understood correctly, it's aprox 333 shares @ $69,667.00 to get $1000 dividends quarterly? Please help me understand correctly.
Trap knows options trading very well. But you have to create your own investment mindset and strategy to become effective and financially successful. Keeping God first. Bishop Cameron I. I bought a fractional share of O'Reilly and after the 15:1 split I had 5 shares. At the lower split price you can always buy more.
Buying fractional ain't always a bad thing. Especially when the stocks price is well over $1k.
*P.s. Same thing happened with my Apple, Tesla and Nvidia. 😊
So you wanna lose out on money and lose out on your dollar cost averaging just to let your money sit in an account instead of having it in the market. LOL
I like him… but this is ridiculous
Buy fractional share for a better position
The goal is to buy shares over time at a low cost. Fraction shares are no different from regular shares in terms of making money. If the stock price double your fractional shares double. Thats the reason crypto and bitcoin work so well. Most people are buying fraction shares of bitcoin. BTC is around 75000. Remember buying fractional shares and buying a piece of BTC is no different. If you buy $20 of btc at 75000 and it double in price to 150000. You have 40 dollars now using fractional shares. Focus on Return on investment when buying
I tried to buy a fraction earlier this week but couldn’t make myself do it. I bought one whole share instead, then asked myself if I was crazy for spending that much money. Oh, well. Gotta start building my account back up. 🤷🏽♀️
Very bad advice
Whatnot total KAKAO & PARMA-HAM 😋
The Math MATHEDDDD.. but my brain 😂😂didnt brain
For the people that’s arguing against the idea of just owning a share instead of a piece. Yall need to understand that percentages & timing matter in the market. And buying a piece can cause a lil disruption.
By the time you have the money, the stock has gone higher.
This bad advice I rather buy fractional shares as I get the money and let it grow into a share while buying the stock. Not about how much money you got in the market is Time in the market.
Fractional shares is LITERALLY how your 401k works. When you conteibute, its buying a fraction of the fund you're invested in. Yes you may ger whole shares but there are fractions associated with it. Saving your money to wait until you have enough means your money is not working. Trap good but he got this wrong.
Waiting until you have enough to invest often means you won't invest. His math is assuming that the price remains at $209 until you have enough to buy a whole share. That's not how it works ar all.
There's a rhing called opportunity cost…the longer you wait (saving up for a whole share) the more you miss out. Percentages are relative, so if the stock goes up 10% whatever dollar amount you have invested goes up 10% as well.
Trap is good…but he is.dead wrong on this one.
I don’t agree when you buy fractions shares you still buying the share why I don’t listen to him 😂
bad advice, if a stock is trading at 600 dollars, buying fractional shares make sense. you can can buy 100 dollars worth of share every 2 week or whatever you can and still participate on the upside, if the price go down, you just averaging your cost, you win both ways.
